Stéphanie de Boüard-Rivoal
CEO & Owner of Château Angelus
Born in Bordeaux and raised in Saint-Emilion, Stéphanie de Boiard-Rivoal is a prominent figure in the world of fine wine. After earning a degree in economics from a leading French school in Paris, she began her professional career in private banking and asset management. In 2009, she joined the supervisory board of Château Angelus. In 2012, Stéphanie took the reins of Château Angelus, alongside her father, Hubert de Board de Laforest, bringing a modern and elegant vision to the estate. Her leadership has been instrumental in refining the estate's wines and expanding its vineyard holdings. She has also elevated the profile of the estate's second wine, Carillon d'Angelus. Beyond winemaking, Stéphanie has led the diversification of the family business into hospitality and gastronomy. She acquired three landmark establishments in Saint-Êmilion- Le Logis de la Cadène (2013), La Maison de la Cadène (2016), and L'Auberge de la Commanderie (2017). Today, Stéphanie de Boiard-Rivoal is recognized not only as a guardian of tradition but also as a visionary leader shaping the future of Château Angelus and its ventures.
